Ronnie Raccoon in 's 25 Essential Expressions Exercise Meme. I drew and inked it entirely in Photoshop. I'm not crazy about memes, but there are a few that pique my interest. I felt this one was particularly important if you're an artist looking to make a career out of cartooning.
I was surprised at the number of artists who did this meme but only did faces, and I feel they're only handicapping themselves when they do that. If you're aspiring to be an animator or cartoonist, the important thing you should know about character design and drawing emotion is incorporating not only the character's face, but their body language as well as the angle of the head. You should know the subtle differences between similar emotions, too. I'm thinking I should look up some cartooning blogs and sites that would explain this further. Heck, I might try to make an "Advanced" version of this one with more difficult and obscure emotions, to really challenge you guys.

Angry is pretty much Ronnie's default emotion, so many of his emotions are kinda angry lookin'. Maybe I should try this exercise again with a somewhat more cheerful character...
